Three Hospitalized after Newport Beach Crash
A cement truck collided with two other vehicles sending three people to the hospital with life-threatening injuries the morning of February 25, 2016. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the major injury collision occurred near the 73 Freeway off-ramp and Newport Coast Drive between a garden truck and a cement truck. The cement truck toppled over into southbound lanes and fell onto to one of the vehicles involved. Three people were taken to an area hospital with traumatic injuries. The investigation is still ongoing.
