This product recall is one in a long line of children’s products that have been recalled just over the last year. Strollers and high chairs, are in fact, the most commonly used children’s products. Parents rely on these products to make their lives a little easier, especially if they are on the go. When parents buy these products for their children, they expect them to be safe. Safety is every parents’ first concern with any product they buy for their infants or toddlers.
However, very often companies — manufacturers or importers — who neglect product safety standards and cut corners to increase their profits, do not meet these expectations. A number of different brands of baby carriages and strollers (including popular brands such as Graco and Cosco) have been found with a wide range of defects such as parts coming loose or stroller collapse. These product defects can of course, cause extremely serious injuries to young children including head injuries and broken bones.
If your child has been personally injured as a result of a defective stroller or any other defective product, please consult with a California product defect attorney to find out more about your legal rights and options. In such cases, legal action not only helps compensate victims and their families, but also holds these defective product manufacturers accountable.
