BISNAR|CHASE Staff is Enthusiastic to Help Feed Orange County
On April 4th, the entire staff of Bisnar|Chase will be out in Santa Ana helping our community. The firm will team up with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County to operate a Mobile Pantry which will distribute fresh produce and dry goods directly to low-income residents of Orange County who are need of food. Giving back to the community has always been a priority for John Bisnar, Brian Chase, and the entire law firm.
The pantry will be set up at 10 a.m. and Bisnar|Chase staff members will distribute food until 1:00 p.m. The mobile pantries are set up each week throughout low-income neighborhoods and with each delivery, the truck transports a minimum of 5,000 pounds of fruit, vegetables, and dry goods. Because the Food Bank acquires produce and dry food items through donation and surplus food, the Mobile Pantry program not only feeds hungry people, but it also prevents over a million pounds of produce from going to waste each year.
How Much is 5,000 Pounds of Food?
On April 4th, nearly 4,000 meals will reach over 200 families in Santa Ana through the mobile pantry and in one year alone, it will feed close to a thousand people for an entire year. The staff Bisnar|Chase feels blessed to be able to provide food for ourselves and families and being able to help those that do not have this life staple is dear to our hearts. The Food Bank has given us the opportunity to provide not only food to Orange County residents, but also allows us to show them kindness, support and that their community cares about them.
