Actress Maura Tierney Injured in Marina Del Rey Bicycle Accident
Former “ER” star Maura Tierney is recovering after a bicycle accident in Marina del Rey area. According to a City News Service report, a vehicle clipped the rear tire of the actress’s bicycle around noon on Aug. 27. Tierney who currently stars in the Showtime drama, “The Affair,” was reportedly fitted with a neck brace and taken to a hospital to be checked out. The driver remained at the scene. Her injuries are not believed to be major. Officials have said alcohol or drugs were not a factor in this bicycle accident.
