Members of the Bisnar Chase staff, along with their families and friends, will be on hand Monday, November 12, 2012 from 12:15 PM - 3:00 PM to donate free turkeys to the area's needy. The event will be held at Connected Blessings located at 166 Donna Court in Anaheim.

The second event, scheduled for Saturday,November 17, 2012, will be held at St. Norberts, located at 300 E. Taft Avenue in Orange from 12:15 PM - 3:00 PM. Bisnar Chase will be on hand once again to donate free turkeys, vegetables, bread and other Thanksgiving food items.

"Thanksgiving is a time to celebrate with a feast of food, but many people in our area struggle financially and simply don't have enough to eat," said John Bisnar, managing partner of the Bisnar Chase Law Firm and regular food bank volunteer. "We're committed to sharing in the celebration of Thanksgiving by including those who might not otherwise have a feast of their own."

Last year, Bisnar Chase distributed more than 750 free turkeys to the area's hungry and has worked closely with Second Harvest Food Bank in Orange County to sponsor nearly a dozen food giveaways in all.

According to Bisnar, the firm's free food contributions are, in part, made up of contributions from the law firm's business associates and referral sources.

"A couple of years ago, we chose to earmark referral fees and money that was spent on holiday gifts and invest those resources into feeding the less fortunate," said Bisnar. "As a result, the nearly one thousand turkeys we're donating this year comes from hundreds of other businesses and clients who support us throughout the year. This gift is simply an extension of the close relationships we've built with our clients, our business associates and our colleagues."
