Bisnar Chase Makes A Donation to Walk Like MADD on Behalf of Lawrence Buckfire to help MADD raise money to stop Drunk Driving

Mothers Against Drunk Drivers recently sponsored a "Walk Like MADD" event on behalf of Lawrence Buckfire, raising money to promote awareness of the effects of drunk driving. Bisnar Chase is a proud sponsor of the Walk Like MADD event.

Mothers Against Drunk Drivers is the largest organization in the country dedicated to fighting drunk driving through education and victim support. MADD's goal is to eliminate drunk driving and the pain it causes families and friends every day.

According to MADD, someone suffers in a drunk driving accident every minute, and a person is killed by a drunk driver every 50 minutes. MADD offers counseling and support services and provides speakers and educational materials throughout Orange County and the country to educate kids and parents on the dangers of drunk driving and prevention techniques.

MADD began sponsoring the Walk Like MADD events at locations across the country to promote awareness and support of MADD's cause. Every weekend, a Walk Like MADD event is being held somewhere in the nation, with volunteers collecting funds and participating in the fun and exercise.

The Orange County Walk Like MADD event was held at Huntington Beach and featured prizes given to the teams who made the most money for the walk. Those who could not participate could sign up to be "virtual walkers" as well, walking in their home areas but participating online in the fun and excitement.
