Bisnar Chase Partners with Share Our Selves During the Holidays to Support Orange County Families in Need

Employees of the Newport Beach personal injury law firm participates in the Orange County nonprofit's 42nd annual Adopt A Family program giving a number of families the extra help they need during the holiday season. The law firm has been involved in this program for the last six years.

For the seventh straight year, the Newport Beach personal injury law firm of Bisnar Chase will participate in Share Our Selves' Adopt A Family program. This year, the employees of Bisnar Chase adopted an Orange County family of 10. The firm has collected at least 40 gifts for this family including gift cards. Usually, Bisnar Chase adopts one large family or two medium-sized families and ensures that each family member has a minimum of three gifts to open. This year, the program, which is in its 42nd year, will serve more than 1,100 families with children recommended by Costa Mesa and Santa Ana schools, according to the organization's website.

Danielle Olson of Bisnar Chase says the firm's employees look forward to participating in this charity every year because it is a great opportunity for them to give back to the community. "We are very fortunate to have an amazing place to work that helps us provide for our families. This is our way of showing our gratitude and giving back."

Olson says employees take their participation in this program very seriously. "All the presents are wrapped in our Newport Beach offices. We take all the gifts to Share Our Selves' designated area in the Orange County Fairgrounds. The organization then distributes them to the families." Olson said the type of items usually donated include clothing, food, toys, bikes, kitchen supplies, gift cards, shoes, school supplies, baby items and other things for the home.

"This is part of a wonderful holiday tradition where this organization embraces many struggling Orange County families by providing gifts and food for the holidays."

In this tough economy, it is heartbreaking to see so many of our neighbors struggling to make ends meet. The least we can do is to help bring some holiday cheer into the lives of these children and families."
