The Lexus collided into the side of the bus at low speed damaging its front fender, wheel and sensor in the process.
In May 2016, the first fatal crash involving a Tesla semi-autonomous crash occurred. In all three cases, Tesla faulted the driver saying that the Autopilot is merely a driver-assist feature and that drivers should always keep their hands on the wheel even when the Autopilot is on and be ready to take over in a moment's notice.
