Causes and Compensation Issues
Based on this news report, it appears that this three-car accident occurred at a large, busy street intersection, which is monitored by traffic lights. We trust officials are looking into what caused this three-car collision to occur. Did one of the drivers run a red light at the intersection? Did one of the motorists fail to yield the right-of-way or make an unsafe turn at the intersection? Did alcohol, drugs, excessive speed or recklessness play a part in this collision?
The aftermath of a car accident can be physically, emotionally and financially challenging for not just victims, but also their family members. Injured victims are looking at mounting medical expenses, lost income as a result of missed work, and potential rehabilitation costs, which may not be covered by medical insurance.
In such cases, negligent motorists can be held accountable for the damages they cause. This is why it is critical to file and obtain a copy of the police report and take other critical steps such as getting photographs of the scene, contacts for eyewitnesses and securing prompt medical attention. An experienced Buena Park personal injury lawyer will be able to help you seek and obtain maximum compensation for all your losses.
